Arsenal fans have been made to wait a long time to see this once again.

Hector Bellerin has returned to the Emirates as the Gunners have officially started their pre-season preparations. Unfortunately though, the Spanish full-back won’t be getting back into the grind just yet.

He suffered a serious knee injury back in January, which ended his season only halfway through. If recent reports are to be believed, we won’t see Bellerin on the pitch until the start of the 2019/20 campaign or even a bit later.

Still, that did not stop him from visiting his friends at the training centre as they were already hard at work.

Bellerin posted a snap of his return on Instagram and captioned it with a finish-line flag emoji, which could also be an indication that his recovery is going well and he could soon get back to his teammates.

The 24-year-old played a total of 19 games before his season was abruptly ended by a serious ligament rupture that made him miss 25 games in the 2018/19 campaign.

كشفت صحيفة “ليكيب” الفرنسية، أنّ نادي سانت إيتيان، بات قريبًا للغاية من التعاقد مع مُهاجم نادي الزمالك، مصطفى محمد، خلال الميركاتو الشتوي الجاري.

مصطفى محمد يرغب في الرحيل عن صفوف القلعة البيضاء من أجل الاحتراف في أوروبا، ويتواجد مُهاجم الأبيض على رادار فريقي سانت إيتيان الفرنسي وجالطة سراي التركي.

سانت إيتيان كان قد توصل إلى اتفاق مع الزمالك بشأن ضم مصطفى، ولكن بعد تصريحات رئيس النادي، رولاند رومير، قرر الأبيض إنهاء المفاوضات معه، والذي زعم أن بعض المسؤولين في القلعة البيضاء طلبوا عمولة لتسهيل الصفقة.

ثم اعتذر عقب ذلك مؤكدًا أن الأمر خطأ في الترجمة ليس أكثر؛ لكن الزمالك بالأمس شدد عبر نائبه هشام إبراهيم، أن المفاوضات مع سانت إيتيان لن تستمر بالإضافة لاتخاذ إجراء قانوني (طالع تصريحاته).

مُهاجم الزمالك خرج في تغريدة عبر حسابه الرسمي في موقع التواصل الاجتماعي “تويتر”، قال فيها إنه فعل كل ما أراده الزمالك منه، فلماذا يقف البعض أمام رغبته (طالع ماذا قال؟)

جان لوك بويزين، مدير التعاقدات ورئيس الكشافة، في سانت إيتيان، أخبر “btolat.com”، أنّ إدارة النادي اتخذت خطوة جديدة من أجل إنهاء الصفقة مع الزمالك قبل نهاية الشهر الجاري إذ ينتهي الميركاتو الشتوي يوم 31 يناير.

وقالت ليكيب في تقرير لها قبل قليل: “على عكس كل التوقعات، الزمالك على وشك التنازل أخيرًا عن مصطفى محمد لـ سانت إيتيان”.

واختتمت: “وفقًا لمصدر مُقرب من هذا الملف، فإن المفاوضات التي بدأت قبل أكثر من شهر على وشك الانتهاء نهائيًا، ومن المؤمل التوصل إلى اتفاق نهائي مساء اليوم الأربعاء، أو صباح غد الخميس على أبعد تقدير”.

Leeds United fans on Twitter were incredibly impressed by what they saw from Ben White as he made his debut for the club in their 2-1 win against Guiseley in Thursday’s pre-season friendly.

White’s ball-playing abilities and composure in possession clearly impressed a number of supporters as many highlighted those as the defender’s key qualities.

The 21-year-old was signed on loan from Brighton earlier in the summer, and he may have a key part to play for Marcelo Bielsa’s side this season after Pontus Jansson was sold to Brentford.

The youngster was only playing against a National League North side, but the game was closer than many anticipated as Guiseley led for a large portion of the match.

One supporter even used the hashtag #Pontuswho as he obviously believes the youngster could step up in the Swede’s absence.

وأضاف: “لا يوجد عناصر خبرة في فريقي إلا 2 أو 3 فقط، ولكن استطعنا أن نعود بعد تأخرنا وحققنا ثلاثة نقاط هي الأغلى وستجعل قلوبنا أقوى، وستنقلنا نقلة كبيرة في جدول ترتيب الدوري، أصبحنا نملك 11 نقطة والفوز أعطى اللاعبين الصغار ثقة”.

وكشف: “بين شوطي اللقاء انفعلت على اللاعبين وقلت لهم لا تقلقوا، الزمالك بعيد عن حالته، ومع ذلك يجب أن أشكر اللاعبين على أدائهم”.

وواصل: “محمد سامي أصيب بكسر في الجمجمة، وأشكره على أدائه اليوم، هو من اللاعبين الكبار وأتمنى أن يعود سريعًا”.

واستطرد: “نحن فريق صغير ولم أفرط في اللاعبين الذين صعدوا من دوري القسم الثاني، ورغم أنه تم سبنا من الجماهير على النتائج الفترة الماضية ولكن اليوم حققنا الفوز”.

وأتم: “هناك مواهب كثيرة في الدرجة الثانية ويحتاجون لمن ينظر إليهم، كان ممكن ببساطة في بداية الموسم أقول للإدارة أريد لاعبين جدد من الدوري الممتاز”.

The south coast outfit have the likes of Nathan Redmond and new boy Moussa Djenepo fighting for spots on the wing, but you can’t help but feel that Boufal could also potentially have a role to play if he gets his head right and shows Hasenhuttl what he is capable of.

The fact he was filmed laughing and joking with Redmond and performing a brilliant slide tackle during the club’s pre-season trip to Ireland is certainly a sign that he is in good spirits, and that will surely boost his chances of being able to try and fight for his future in the next couple of weeks.

At the end of the day the decision comes down to the Austrian manager, but this recent video will have been a welcomed sight for some members of the St Mary’s faithful.

وعلّق كونتي: “من المحتم أنه مع الخسارة 2-1 على أرضنا، نحتاج إلى الفوز بمباراة الإياب هناك بهدفين، لذلك لن تكون نزهة في الحديقة”.

 سُئل كونتي كذلك عن الأزمة المالية التي يمر بها إنتر، وإمكانية بيع النادي، وأجاب المدرب: “إنه وضع غريب، لا جدوى من إنكاره، بدأنا بمشروع ولكن تجمد بشكل أساسي في أغسطس”.

Pre-season is full of chores. Fitness working, technical training, travels to the far side of the world and back, and most importantly, in our new super inter-connected society, media work.

West Ham United may have only recently returned from their brief excursion to China but plans are already well underway to collect an arsenal of appropriate material for next season’s graphics.

Lucky for us all, we caught a glimpse of the exciting behind-the-scenes action at West Ham’s training ground via the club’s Instagram page.

New signing Pablo Fornals, who joined from La Liga side Villareal in June for £24m, looks the part with his salute and presumably we’ll see it in all its glory when he scores.

Jack Wilshere is up next with a hearty fist bump plucked straight from the pirate handbook (argh).

It would be nice to see this graphic in action this season, but the reality is that his knees, or any other part of his frail body for that matter, are likely to literally – not literally – spontaneously combust a few games in, as they have done 15 separate times in his career .

Wilshere’s missed 185 games through injury, in case you were wondering).

Does what it says on the tin. Expect to see this one when a VAR decision is made at the London Stadium, followed by either cheers or groans.

ووفقاً لموقع “le 360” المغربي، فإن الاتحاد المغربي لكرة القدم، خاطب الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم “الكاف”، من أجل إخطاره باستحالة إجراء مباراة الوداد الرياضي أمام فريق كايزر شيفز الجنوب إفريقي، المقرر لها بمركب محمد الخامس، بسبب التطورات الأخيرة لفيروس كورونا “كوفيد 19”.

وأشار الموقع المغربي إلى أن مسؤولي الاتحاد المغربي طالبوا بتأجيل المباراة أو أجرائها في بلد آخر.

وأكد مسؤولو الاتحاد المغربي في رسالتهم إلى لجنة الأندية بـ “الكاف”، أن السلطات المغربية قررت عدم السماح بإجراء المباراة المذكورة بمدينة الدار البيضاء، لاعتبارات تخص السلامة الصحية.

يذكر أن الوداد وكايزر تشيفز يتواجدان في المجموعة الثالثة لدوري أبطال إفريقيا، بجوار كل من حوريا الغيني، بترو أتلتيكو الأنجولي.

According to L’Equipe, via Get French Football News, Newcastle United have launched a £7.2m offer for Paris Saint-Germain left-back Stanley N’Soki.

The 20-year-old came through the youth system at PSG and has made 16 first-team appearances for the capital giants in all competitions.

Get French Football News have confirmed L’Equipe’s story regarding a bid, although it has been claimed that the Magpies will have to come up with an offer of £9m plus add-ons to convince the French champions to sanction a move.

N’Soki, who is a France Under-21 international, made 12 Ligue 1 appearances during a breakthrough 2018-19 campaign.

As expected, a number of Newcastle fans have been on social media reacting to the latest speculation.

And whilst a number are excited by the possibility of the youngster arriving, others feel that their club will find it difficult to complete a deal.
