أعلن نادي باريس سان جيرمان الفرنسي في بيان رسمي، اليوم الثلاثاء، تعاقده مع نوردي موكيلي قادمًا من لايبزيج الألماني.

وبات المدافع الفرنسي ثالث صفقات النادي الباريسي في نافذة الانتقالات الصيفية، حيث ضم بي إس جي هذا الصيف لاعب الوسط البرتغالي فيتنها من بورتو، وفعّل بند الشراء في عقد نونو مينديز من سبورتينج لشبونة.

وقال النادي في بيانه: “يسر باريس سان جيرمان الإعلان عن التعاقد مع نوردي موكيلي الظهير الأيمن لـ لايبزيج”.

وأوضح باريس سان جيرمان في بيانه أن المدافع صاحب الـ24 عامًا، وقع على عقد مدته 5 سنوات، حتى 30 يونيو 2027.

ولم يكشف باريس عن القيمة المالية للصفقة، ولكن تقارير صحفية ذكرت أن نوردي موكيلي كلف خزائن النادي ما يقرب من 20 مليون يورو.

نوردي موكيلي خلال مسيرته في لايبزيج خاض 146 مباراة بمُختلف المُسابقات، وسجل 10 أهداف وقدم 11 تمريرة حاسمة، وتمكن من الفوز بكأس ألمانيا.

Leeds United star Kalvin Phillips is prepared to sign a new long-term contract at Elland Road, according to journalist David Anderson.

There have been numerous players who have shone under Marcelo Bielsa, but Phillips has arguably been the main hero of this era at Elland Road – every football fan wants to see local lads in their first-team.

Phillips’ current Leeds deal expires in the summer of 2024, but according to the Daily Mirror’s Anderson on Twitter, talks will begin soon over a new-and-improved contract.

He states in an all-important eight-word verdict that the midfielder is ‘ready to sign a new deal at Leeds’.

The reporter also claims Phillips ‘loves the club, is happy there and feels he is achieving all his football ambitions with them.’

The Verdict: Huge boost for Whites

This is major news for anyone of a Whites persuasion, with Phillips surely the first name on Bielsa’s team-sheet, having become such a formidable player.

The most important thing is that the Englishman seems legitimately happy at Elland Road, too, rather than eyeing up a move elsewhere.

If the worst-case scenario does happen and Phillips eventually wants to leave, Leeds will at least be able to demand huge money for him if he signs a new deal.

ولكن رأي كلوب تغير بسبب إصابة الدولي الإنجليزي، أليكس أوكسلايد تشامبرلين، حيث يُعاني لاعب وسط ليفربول من إصابة في أوتار الركبة، وقد يغيب لفترة طويلة عن الملاعب؛ وفقًا لما ذكرته شبكة “كالتشيو ميركاتو” الإيطالية.

Australia may have home advantage for the 2009 World Cup and the statistical benefit of being unbeaten in a one-day series since 2000, but as the world at large has been learning, numbers can mask a truer picture. They had to come from 2-0 down in their series with a strong New Zealand in February, while England have emerged as a force and held them to a draw in their backyard last year.Being uncertain as to who will be the winner this time indicates a time of strength for the women’s game. Australia, New Zealand and England are the three main contenders and have sides brimming with talent, desire and ability. They are the only teams to have won the tournament since its inception in 1973.It would be foolish to write off India, the fourth main contender, and the beaten finalist in 2005. However, they have been on the wrong side against the three big players, with a 12-match losing streak stretching back to 2007.This is where another number clouds the truth. India head into the tournament ranked at No. 2, based on their final appearance four years ago. Since then they have won eight and lost 35 against the top three. A more realistic billing on current form would be a distant fourth.Australia are rightly No. 1 for their consistent record, and it is hard to split England and New Zealand for the No. 2 spot. What of the other contenders? Sri Lanka are only in their 12th year, but have already won more of their 70 games than they have lost, albeit against the lesser teams.West Indies surprisingly took the final qualifying place last time ahead of the hosts South Africa. The ground offers intimacy and grassy banks and its smaller capacity should allow for better pictures of the crowds, rather than swathes of empty seats.While we can’t be sure how many will turn up, and we can’t hope to know the eventual winner, one thing is for certain: this World Cup has the potential to be the most exciting yet. The batsmen are hitting harder than ever before, the fielding is generally of high quality and the mark for winning totals gets higher and higher. There is plenty of anticipation surrounding the most important tournament of all for the women’s game.

Celtic central midfielder and captain Callum McGregor has had a fine start to life under Ange Postecoglou in the Scottish Premiership this season.

The Hoops academy product, now 28, has started six of their matches in the Premiership, averaging an eye-catching SofaScore rating of 7.02.

His impressive start to the campaign led to Postecoglou recently admitting that he wants to pin the midfielder down to a new contract as he believes McGregor is ‘pivotal’ heading into the next few years. He told the Glasgow Times:

“We’ll work on the players whose contracts are current and see what we need to do there. I’ve no doubt Cal’s going to be an important, pivotal figure in this football club for the next few years.

“The club will respect his position. We’ll start working on the structure off the field in terms of our staffing and how we do things, which is good. After a busy period we can start working on those things now.”

McGregor is the pride of Parkhead having come through the academy to now starring in the first-team as captain, having made 339 senior appearances for the club to date.

The experienced skipper took over from Scott Brown upon Postecoglou’s arrival and is now living the dream of every young Celtic fan as he wears the armband in the midfield week-in-week-out for his boyhood club.

It has now always been easy for McGregor at Celtic Park, however, as he hit a low point in April 2020. The Scotland international’s value dropped down to £3.60m per Transfermarkt, the lowest it had been since January 2019.

This came after a poor run of form in the Europa League. He produced zero goals and one assist in seven matches, having managed zero goals and one assist in two qualifying games earlier in the campaign.

Instead of allowing his value to dip further, McGregor turned his form around and became a crucial player for Celtic in the Premiership. He ended the 2019/20 league campaign with nine goals and seven assists in 30 matches.

In the 2020/21 season, McGregor averaged a superb SofaScore rating of 7.07 as he registered three goals and seven assists. He averaged 1.5 key passes per game to highlight the creativity he offers in the middle of the park, whilst his average rating shows that he was able to perform consistently to a high level in the Premiership.

At the time of writing (08/10/21), McGregor is valued at £6.3m by Transfermarkt.

This is a 75% increase from the £3.6m he was valued at in April 2020, which shows that he has been able to battle back from adversary to establish himself as a crucial cog in the Celtic side – eventually leading to him earning the captain’s armband.

McGregor is the pride of the academy and a shining light to those currently emerging through the ranks within the youth set-up. They will be able to look at him and see what he has achieved at Celtic and believe that they could follow in his footsteps.

O Maracanã não recebeu um primeiro tempo inesquecível neste domingo. Houve alguns lances de mais perigo, mas a maior parte do tempo foi em clima morno. Richarlison cabeceou com precisão após cruzamento de Renato, mas foi flagrado em impedimento. Jô aproveitou erro de Léo na saída de bola, mas Rodriguinho não aproveitou a chance. Giovanni Augusto arriscou de fora da área, mas a bola desviou em Henrique. Pedro Henrique também teve uma chance de cabeça, mas não passou disso.

A divisão das oportunidades deixa claro: apesar do aparente equilíbrio, sem grandes chances de gol, o Corinthians foi superior em criação, enquanto o Fluminense teve mais posse de bola. O único lance polêmico da etapa inicial foi um puxão de Léo na camisa de Jô dentro da área, não notado pelo árbitro Rafael Traci. O técnico corintiano Fábio Carille ficou indignado com a jogada que considerou um pênalti não marcado.

Revoltas à parte, o Corinthians voltou para o segundo tempo com o mesmo padrão de jogo: defesa protegida e toques de qualidade no meio para abrir espaços no ataque. O Fluminense não vivia uma tarde de muita inspiração, e foi na bola parada que sofreu o mais duro golpe: aos quatro minutos, Giovanni Augusto cobrou escanteio aberto e Balbuena pulou mais alto que Henrique para cabecear sem defesa para o goleiro Júlio César.

Os melhores lances do jogo apareceram justamente depois do gol. Primeiro o Corinthians foi para cima, com Rodriguinho parando em boa defesa de Júlio César e depois em cruzamento de Giovanni Augusto na área para cabeceio de Romero para fora. O Flu também criou ótimas oportunidades, com chute cruzado de Gustavo Scarpa que pegou na trave e Richarlison não conseguiu aproveitar o rebote, defesa de Cássio em batida de Peu e um gol de Richarlison em que foi marcado impedimento. Enfim, alguma emoção. Mas nada que tenha alterado o placar…

O Corinthians volta a jogar pelo Brasileirão no domingo, em São Paulo, contra o Flamengo – antes disso, entra em campo pela Copa Sul-Americana na quarta, diante do Patriotas (COL). Já o Fluminense visita a Ponte Preta no próximo domingo para tentar se reabilitar no Brasileiro, mas também tem a competição continental pelo caminho e enfrenta a Universidad de Quito (EQU) na quarta.

Despite having a healthy number of central-midfielders in their current squad including the likes of Naby Keita, Thiago Alcantara, James Milner, Jordan Henderson, Curtis Jones and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, it seems as though Liverpool have their eye on securing a new midfield star to add to their ranks in the near future.

What’s the latest?

It has been recently reported by Spanish media outlet El Nacional that Liverpool are weighing up a €25m bid (£21.1m) for AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie, who was once described as “devastating” by former Milan striker Antonio Cassano.

Milan originally signed Kessie on a loan deal from fellow Italian side Atalanta back in the 2017 summer transfer window before securing him on a permanent deal in the 2019 summer window.

Wijnaldum replacement?

Overall, the 24-year-old, who is currently valued at £49.5m according to Transfermarkt, has made a total of 191 appearances for the club in which he has managed to score 30 goals and provide 15 assists along the way.

So far this season, Kessie has played in all but two of Milan’s games across all competitions, including playing 90 minutes in the 3-2 defeat against Liverpool in the Champions League.

In terms of a potential move to Liverpool, we feel that Kessie could provide Jurgen Klopp with a suitable replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum who left the club on a free transfer in the summer.

Given how the midfielder has managed to rack up a passing accuracy percentage of 91.3% in Serie A so far this season, it shows striking similarities with the Reds’ former Dutchman who completed a percentage of 92.7% last season in the Premier League, a tally that was higher than any other Reds player.

A review from Vincenzo Montella, his former manager, also paints him with vibrancy. He once dubbed the Milan star “an extraordinary player” with “sublime intelligence.” That last passage certainly resembles Wijnaldum in some regard.

Considering the age of some of Liverpool’s midfield options such as Thiago (30), Milner (35) and Henderson (31), Kessie could well be a good long-term midfield option for the Reds, especially if they manage to sign him for the fee mentioned in the report.

However, with Kessie’s current contract at the Italian club set to expire at next summer, perhaps Liverpool could be better off potentially signing him on a free transfer then instead of having to pay a fee for him if he doesn’t sign a new deal at Milan.

ماجواير خلال تصريحاته أكد أنه لا ينوي التنازل عن شارة القيادة، وخاصًة بعد الانتقادات التي تلقاها في الموسم الماضي بسبب أداءه المُخيب للآمال.

وقال ماجواير في تصريحات عبر قناة “سكاي سبورتس”: “تين هاج جلب الكثير من الطاقة حتى الآن، والكثير من المشاعر الإيجابية، في الموسم التحضيري الأمور سارت على ما يُرام، ونحن جاهزون ونتطلع إلى القادم”.

وأضاف: “هذا النادي يدور حول الفوز بالألقاب، من حيث كنا الموسم الماضي علينا أن ننظر إلى تحسن كبير، العام الماضي لم يكن مقبولًا في أي مكان بهذا النادي، خرجنا من الكؤوس مبكرًا، ولم نمنح جماهيرنا أي شيء نتطلع إليه”.

وواصل: “الموسم الماضي، في الشهرين أو الثلاثة أشهر الماضية، كنا نلعب أيام السبت والسبت فقط وهذا النادي غير معتاد على ذلك ولا ينبغي أن يفعل ذلك، لقد خرجنا من كل مسابقات الكؤوس ولم نلعب بشكل جيد في الدوري، علينا أن نبحث عن تحسن كبير في الأداء ومنح جماهيرنا شيئًا يسعدهم”.

واعترف: “لم نقدم أداءً جيدًا بما فيه الكفاية والفريق في النهاية لم يقدم أداءً جماعيًا بشكل كافٍ”.
